It’s scary moving to a new country; finding a job, a place to live, learning a new language and meeting friends can all be big challenges. 

UMOJA is a support group that addresses these issues that African immigrants are facing.  This program offers help with language barriers, computer skills, social networking and the overall adjustment into a new lifestyle. 

A grant from Vancouver Foundation has allowed UMOJA to continue to offer their support to African refugees.
